I skipped posting a couple days while I was traveling, and then I skipped posting yesterday because I was tired. But I want to get back into the habit again. So rather than waiting for the end of the day, I decided I’d post now, before I get tired, before I forget.

Problem is, I don’t have that much to say. Do I ever?

I’ve chosen my editor, signed our agreement, and am waiting for the invoice and waiting to pay for it before I send over the manuscript. That way I can continue to tweak, within reason. I noticed I tend to repeat things a lot. I need to work on that.

I’ve also been working on book two. I’ve gotten through days 5 through 8. Day 9 is tough. There’s a lot of unecessary fluff in it but I absolutely love that fluff and am resisting deleting things like the garlic bread and Thayer’s evil little sneer. But is it really necessary to the story? I dunno.

And I really need to start thinking more seriously about cover art, but that thought is daunting. And it’s probably best to wait until my editor has done her manuscript evaluation, which won’t be until the end of next month.

So that’s my boring update for the day. lol. Stay safe, all, and peace! Love you!

I, too, have enjoyed living vicariously through your progress. (Also, I had a good laugh at the knitted item the other day.)

Thank you, Julie! That knitted thing was beautiful to someone, I’m sure. I hope my mom finds a good use or a good home for it. 😉

Congrats and yay for finalizing things with your editor. It’s really cool to read about the step by step process you are bravely going through.

Oh don’t cut too much. Character development is also a valid reason for including something and garlic bread and evil sneers add to that and make ther story tangible and real. IMHO at least! As long as you don’t spend 100 pages on garlic sneers, that is! Which you wouldn’t, because you rock as a writer!

I’m trying not to cut anything. The garlic bread has to stay. Thayer’s ? sneer also stayed in. Because I came to the same conclusion as you. Thank you ! ?

Really enjoying reading your progress! I’ve had trouble leaving comments b/c I’m apparently not signed up with WordPress as I thought I was, so will see if this one works…

It worked! You shouldn’t need a WP account to reply. I hope it’s not set up that way. You may need one to “Like” posts, though.

Thanks for following along on this journey of mine!
